Our Story

The Story of Ready Pest, Philip and Angela Maready

Philip Maready and wife, Angela, started Ready Pest Solutions with one simple goal: to enhance the quality of life of our customers in our community by protecting their homes and businesses from unwanted pests.  We will accomplish this while ensuring proper regard for the safety, health, and welfare of the public and environment.  We are also very passionate about utilizing the business to give back to the community through our church and other charitable organizations.

Meet Philip Maready

Philip has been in the pest management business for over 23 years.  His experience includes 7 years with a national pest control company as Pest Control Technician, Sales Trainer, and Branch Manager.  He also served over 16 years with a family-owned Triangle, NC based group of pest control companies as Operations Manager and Technical Director.

Philip holds a NC license in Structural Pest Control and a NC Ground Applicator license in Ornamental Turf and Public Health.  He is an Accredited Wood Destroying Insect (WDIR) inspector through the NC Pest Management Association (see WDIR inspector requirements).

In 2012, Philip earned his credentials as an Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) through the Entomological Society of America. (See ACE requirements) He is among approximately 1000 others certified in the U.S. and only 25 certified in North Carolina.
